Fun & Energizing Professional Development
The Motivate with Movement 2 ½ hour professional development takes teachers far beyond the typical brain break dance-off that is a standard go-to for getting students up from their desks. Teachers now have more to teach and less time so taking a “break” from learning is not a feasible option. In addition to that, a break does not necessarily encourage social interaction. Motivate with Movement shows teachers that movement can become a part of learning, not a break. Participants will learn about the academic, social and emotional benefits of movement using the actual skills and activities that they can try out with their students. Teachers will be up and moving throughout the PD just like their students will be. It is guaranteed to be a professional development experience like none other!
